I’m an applied epidemiologist specializing in substance use, drug policy, and public health systems. I’m currently a PhD candidate and fellowship recipient at the University of British Columbia’s School of Population and Public Health, and a graduate research assistant with the BC Centre on Substance Use. My work focuses on generating timely, actionable evidence to respond to the unregulated drug supply and reduce drug-related harms, with expertise in study design, drug supply monitoring, and program evaluation.

I am an experienced drug checking technician who, in my role as Research Data Coordinator for the BC Centre on Substance Use's Drug Checking Project, oversaw the collection and reporting of the province's drug checking data. Since 2018, I have helped educate and support drug checking technicians across BC, including developing the province’s drug checking technical training curriculum.

I collaborate closely with harm reduction services, drug checking programs, and health system partners to design research that is rigorous, responsive, and rooted in public health practice.
